    hi there,
I am a drummer, and have had this problem too! it hurts when you get them , then when you have to play a gig with a burst blister!! ouch…
i found buying a pair of full finger drumming gloves, not fingerless as the blister forms where the gloves end on the fingers. you can get these at your music store, or order a pair online. At least you can wear these at practice, and take them off if you dont wear them for gigs.
either that or tape your fingers where you get the blisters with a plaster, it provides grip, and stops the blister forming.. hope this helps! motleydo

    I am not a drummer.
So the above answer is great!
Before I read his answer, I was also going to say tape where the blosters form.
I have experience with wood, and other things.
And this helps prevent them. Stephen Va state EMT
