How much would a full electronic drum set cost me?

I asked my mum for electronic drums for my birthday and couldn’t find a full “set” anywhere (I.E. with an amplifier, or however they’re played.) How much would a basic amplifier cost for electronic drums? Could I just use my guitar amplifier with them? If so, are there any electronic drum kits I can use that a normal electric guitar jack would plug into to connect it to the amplifier? If not, where can I get cheap amplifiers for electronic drums?

I’m thinking of buying an electric guitar (along with amp and other stuff) and using the school’s drum set to practice since drums are easier to get a head start.
