Where can i find a cheap electric drum kit?
Oli Sandler asked:
I am looking for a preferably full size electric drum kit to practice with at home. I have a yamaha pad set which was good to start out with but now I need something bigger. I cannot get an acoustic kit as I live at home and my parents would killlll me. So, what can I do? Also, price needs to be kept kinda low as I have few funds.
Thanks.
Oli

Is it possible for me to buy a specific digital/electric drum kit without the problem of noise level?
Rebecca C asked:
I am really looking to buy a professional drum kit for myself, but my parents won’t allow me because of the “noise level”. I have the “Rockband” game for Xbox 360, and they can barely live with that. Is there any way for me to get a kind of drum set or accessory that enables me to have a playing noise level under the decibel level of a Rockband drum set, or any other way of solving this problem reasonably?

I need to find a basic drum set at a reasonable price. Any advice?
Jackie asked:
I’m starting drum lessons soon, and the instructor recommended I get my own drum set. Seeing as lessons are expensive already, my parents are not to excited about the whole investment. I need to know what are the basics I should look for and anything else I should think about to get the most out of my money. So far the best I’ve come across was a 5-pc for 240$. I’m 13-years-old and a complete begginer, if that helps.

How to convice parents to let me play the drums?

I play the guitar already and have lessons once every week! But i also want to add another instrument to that…..the drums. What are some things that i could tell my parents that would help me have a good chance of them allowing it?

Know anything about electric drums or headphones?
Gabe Nedden asked:
I got an electric drumset and want to wear headphones as to not annoy neighbors and parents. Can anyone suggest a good company or even model that is good quality but also a reasonable price. I don’t really want to pay more than 60-70 dollars. Any help?

As a girl, is it physically possible for me to play drums?
xxpixii asked:
I’ve wanted for a year or so now to start learning to play drums. I’ve got some money set aside for lessons and drums, and I’ve finally talked my parents into letting me get a set to practice on. But a friend of mine’s boyfriend (who’s in a band) told me I couldn’t play the drums because I was “too little”. To put this in perspective, I’m five foot three and a hundred and twelve pounds. Is this true? Do I have to have a certain physique to play drums?

How can I convince my parents to get me drums?
Raphael asked:
I already play piano, I’ve been playing for 8 yrs and I know the basics of drums, and I could play them well, they even got me real sticks for guitar hero. But I want to get a drum set so I can play it for fun, but they won’t let me b/c i have to get better at piano, but i still like it.
Also, they say they are very loud, and i think that acoustic are better since they’re real
