An electrick set would be the simmons SD5K, it is 400$ and you can buy a throne and pedal cheap for like 40$ each. zzsk8er

If you have a Guitar Center near by I’d check that place out. They have some good deals most of the time. Musiciansfriend.com has some great deals also. You get free shipping on most orders over $99 too. Here’s a link with a bunch of complete drum kits.
I would go with one of the Ludwig, Pulse or Sonor kits. I would have recommended the Pearl Forum kit, but the price has gone up about 200 dollars since I bought my first kit ages ago.
